MDCHCA is in the midst of our training season and have had all 3 of our trainings going on at the same time. This, for the first time ever, thanks to our partnership w/D.C. gov.
We'd also like to thank Carter Machinery for conducting our first ever Heavy Equipment Operators licensing training... and we are in the 6th version of our Spanish language OSHA 30.
Above all we are grateful to the member companies and workers who are among the most talented in the industry. Gracias a todos, for making these educational sessions such a success.

Déjenos saber si desea asistir a nuestra clase o inscribir a uno de sus empleados. Esta certificación es obligatoria para personas que tienen un cargo de supervisor (Foreman) en la Construction.
Nuestra clase de OSHA 30 en Español se llevarán a cabo 4 sábados. Las fechas serán anunciadas. Los participantes deberán asistir a todas las clases para recibir su certificado y tarjeta de OSHA.

OSHA 30 IN SPANISH
Training will consist of:
Aerial Lift Operator Training (Manlift, Scissor Lift)
CAT Equipment (Mini Excavator/Skit Steer Loader)
- DATES: March 7TH and 8TH, 2024
- COST: $150 members of the association
- $250 non-members
( 1 full day and Day 2 half day)
- At completion of training,
students will receive a
certificate and operator cards

CAT MACHINE OPERATOR TRAINING
This training is limited to a total of 12-15 business owners who are members of the Association or intend to become members. There will be a minimal fee of $100 to cover the costs of refreshment and food.
If you are a business with revenues over $250K in the Construction Industry this is a great program for you to get your business to the next level! We will consider business on a case-by-case basis. We are looking for business owners who have the drive and motivation to learn and grow along with some of the top professionals in the Construction Industry.

The Metro D.C. Hispanic Contractors Bi-Lingual Construction Management Certificate Program is supported in part by the Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs and member donations. All seminars shall be conducted at a location that is most convenient. The program is officially a bi-lingual series. All sessions will have English and Spanish-speaking instructors present.

MDCHCA is presenting a 9-week training program for member business owners who are interested in understanding the dynamics of sub-contracting in the commercial construction industry of the Washington D.C. region.
The seminars shall be conducted Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:00 PM on nine consecutive Tuesdays. Dates will be announced soon.
Participants should be prepared to attend all sessions.
Location will be announced closer to the training dates.
The Certificate program consists of a series of nine, three-hour sessions ending in a Roundtable Panel with representatives from six of the most important commercial builders in the region where participants can present their capabilities and advocate for the contracting of their companies in live, on-going projects.
The Certificate program will include seminars on; business structure, finance & administration, risk management, insurance & bonding, contract review, estimation & bidding, training & safety, marketing & business development and an assessment panel.
Training instructors have been selected from experts in the field spanning the most successful professionals from over a dozen large construction and construction related corporations as well as members of our Board of Directors, all highly successful businesspersons.
